Makes it easier to release the slide because of the better angled serrations are easier to 2 finger pinch & pull down on the right/left side pinch points required to release the Glock slide for fieldstripping/takedown/maintenance. You can find the removal/replacement procedure on a YouTube video, it requires depressing the spring and moving the original OEM Glock lever laterally to either side to begin moving it out, once you begin the movement, push this new DELTAC lever into the slot to finish pushing the Glock OEM lever out, when the DELTAC lever reaches the center, the spring will now set in the DELTACs step on the bottom/center of the lever, holding it in place. Now you'll find it easier to pinch the lever for takedown. Works well, happy with this one.
